My lame attempt to update
We'll start with the string of My Chem shows.
San Diego was fun. Almost drove to TJ. Missed My Chem and Letter Kills but found Jerry and hung out in the production office. Watched SOTY from up above. I feel sorry for every kid that was down in the crowd. They looked funny. Went to Denny's and talked. Take notes kids: don't try to order California rolls in Japan because everyone will think you're dumb. "Where's my burrito?"
The Loft show. Sold out like whoa. Chrissy broke her foot just hours before the show. Saw all the girls from down south (Natalie, Shelly and Kaci). Katie, Sar and Lloby were there too. Talked to Rick and Kim. That was nice, hadn't seen them in a long ass time. Matt: "Did you ladies bring your dancing shoes?" Gerard's car crash makeup. Insane crowd. Stood in the back. After the show talked to Ray about what we mentioned in Jersey. Steph's stealthy hand-off. Got Slurpees. Went back to the "secret place" with Ray and Eric. Behind a bus is not so secret when there are cops circling the building. SO close. Promised to get them more by the Wiltern show. Jerry and Damien being gangstas.
Late night "goodness" run with the Chad and his hardcore bro. "Dude, I love this breakdown..." I tried so hard not to laugh. Good times.
TWINS BIRTHDAY!! Went to eat and Steph attempted to eat an octopus (I'll post pictures later). Got picked up by Headuh and headed to LA. Got to sit and stand in the handicap section since Chrissy was injured. It ruled. We rocked out like whoa. Went outside for Lost Prophets and ran into Ray. Proceeded to the bus where we "dry cleaned" Bob's clothes. They now smell better than any dry cleaning service could do. Tons of porn. We almost burned the bus down, for reals. The trash was smoking. Whoops. Talked about Mikey and Senses Fail. Met Bob who is totally cool (and now has really really ridiculously good smelling clothes). Laughed and pondered the meaning of the words "smear" and "schmear" while Ray talked to his manager for like an hour. So funny for me. Isn't it amazing how similar the Funeral March and the Star Wars theme song are? Try humming them. Hard, huh? Chrissy stuck her arm out the window and pretended to be Britney Spears. Went to Denny's and as we're leaving the bathroom these girls go "Do you know if that's the lead singer from My Chemical Romance eating over there?" We investigated and yes it was Gerard, Bob and two other dudes. Weird looks. Scary for me. Went back to the bus and gave Jerry his shirt and said bye to Ray. I miss that group. As weird as it is, it somehow works. Jersey in January is where it will be. Ray promised to take us to the Land of Make Believe (even though it's gay and sucks) and Midgetville (ask Chrissy how he knows where it is).
The next couple days were kind of a blur. Lots of Katie and Sar time at the HUB. Hung out with the twins nephew Cameron. Went on a walk with Brandon to the CSUCI morgue and went coyote hunting. Went shopping at Halloween stores. Cemetery background, dripping blood and the D&D cd... I mean... what? Lots of band practices. Puking in the parking lot.
Went to moms house to watch the kids for a day. On the way up stopped in SB and had dinner with Nicki and saw her new puppy. Sooooo cute for me. Still in Solvang and it's really boring for me. But I heart my Jake so it's all good. Watches a few movies. Saved was funny.
Tomorrow the sis and I are going to SB because she wants to go shopping. Nicki and Twins are coming too. Paaaaaarty.
HEAD AUTOMATICA, ATREYU AND THE USED ON WEDNESDAY. Ventura Theater. Mike Wood, I expect to see you and Danny there okay? If not I might have to have an emo moment when Atreyu plays and that would be embarassing.
